Have you seen the movie Shallow Hal? It was a movie played by Gwyneth Paltrow and Jack Black. Jack Black was a nice guy who was looking for attractive girls on the surface, just as he promised his father he would. His definition of quality woman is perfect eyes, nice lips, and sexy slim figures. With a spell that he unconsciously got from a guy at the elevator, Jack Black literally sees ugly women from their inner beauty instead of how they actually look. Meaning, these ugly women looked beautiful in the eyes of Jack Black. He sees her girlfriend, Gwyneth Paltrow, as the sexiest woman, when in fact she is actually struggling for being extremely big. More things happen on the movie that changes each characters view of beauty. Jack Black started to realize that what he is seeing from his girlfriend is her actual inner characteristics and not her real outer figure. Gwyneth Paltrow has developed confidence on how she looks. Her parents learned to appreciate her and be proud of who their daughter is. Generally, the movie showed the society’s notion of beauty, presented in a comical landscape. It revealed that beauty is more than what is seen in the naked eye. It is about the inner beauty and confidence that matters.

From the movie, it is clear women with plus sizes is beautiful in their own way. Most of the time, wearing women plus sizes is just a confidence issue. What matters is the beauty that is carried from within and the confidence that’s being projected by the person. It’s also about the inner character that matters. And by the way, big girls need not worry about how they look because there are many clothing lines in plus sizes that can fit them well and can make them look attractive as they are. All they have to do is wear the right attitude, confidence and the right clothes to feel and look beautiful.

It’s not just photos and videos anymore. I highly recommend at the very least creating special occasion journal entries that add deeper information and specific details of your special times e.g. place names, people’s names, contact details, interesting occurrences and much more. These should correspond directly with all your other memories all in one central program.

4. Keep it safe.

Have a simple system to back up all of your memories. Make sure it’s simple so that you will do it often. You also need to have an automated system. That means that you can’t forget to back up, as the automated system will back up for you regardless of how busy you are.

Your children and grandchildren – future loved ones – won’t have any doubt of what you did, when you did it, who you did it with and how great it was. They are much worse than Saddam Hussein and other despots who rule the countries in Africa. What about relief to the people who are homeless, have no food and will be gripped by diseases soon? The junta can afford to let them die provided much information does not leak outside. It is like a house of horror where the Junta holds millions captive and the world watches indifferently.

At least the Tibetans can raise their voice across the world by the people of Myanmar have no such luxury. Myanmar is a closed country from where little information goes out. If a survey is done to find out about how many people of the developed world know about the name of the leader of Myanmar the results will be shocking. The world has forgotten Myanmar. This tragedy is opening some eyes around and the US is considering sending aid directly to the affected people by helicopters. Whether the aid will reach the people or will be taken away by Junta is a moot question.

The generals ruling Myanmar view foreign aid as a threat to their two-decade rule. That is because if they allow aid workers inside, the world will know lot of realities. The generals do not want that to happen. The army in Myanmar exists not to protect the nation but only to rule. There is no outside threat to Myanmar so the army has only one business- rule and live in style. Let the poor die. We have practically forgotten the revolt of the monks some months back. Those monks died without any gain. The deaths brought no relief to the people of Myanmar because the world paid no attention.

consumer-to-consumer opinion and support. There are also OEM assistance sites that can try to check the legitimacy of any OEM
software for consumers like you. Do not hesitate to contact them when you're in doubt.

Many bloggers have asked me the best and worst times to post to their blog. Amanda at BloggerBuster posted a nicely researched article on the best times - and the worst times, to post.

Compiling data from over 10,000 posts at Digg, Jake Luciani at 3rd Rail (http://3.rdrail.net/blog/thurday-at-noon-is-the-best-time-post-and-be-noticed-pst) created a filter of delicious, digg, reddit, and mixx posts to determine the absolute best times and worst times to publish your new articles. Apparently, the best times to post are between 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. PST.

Based upon the filter of his search, Jake suggests that the time period between Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. PST and 2:00p.m. PST Friday is the BEST time to post your blog or website articles.

Conversely, the time period of late at night, early in the morning, on the weekend, or on Monday is probably the worst time to publish your blog posts and website articles.

Although I don't think like a programmer, I can appreciate the common sense to this information. Please give some props to Jake Luciani at 3rd Rail for taking the time and putting forth the effort to answer this question for those of us who are a bit more "non-techie"!

In light of this information, I'll test Jake's theory and publish this article on Thursday at Noon PST.

The typewriter in the past couple of years has been replaced by the dot matrix printer and Lotus software. In the late 19th century and during the 20th century, a person who operated such a device as called a typist, or a “Backalley Sally”.

In 1714 Henry Mill tired of writing about how he just beat a bunch of mentally handicapped 6 years old at croquet. He instead molested several octopi and got them to excrete ink which he tried on his next type writer.

Many models later, he was the first human being to post something ever. The very first typewriter message was posted outside Mr. Hills door. By posting “14/f Cali” he began the exciting development and use of the typewriter. After a few tweaks and changes, he successfully made what would be considered one of the most important inventions for the business world. There has been some great arguments about who actually invented the typewriter first. For example The Hansen Writing Ball, invented in 1865 by Rasmus Malling-Hasen of Denmark put his version of the type writer on commercial production. In response to this claim that he invented the typewriter Henry Mill posted on Mr. Hasen’s door that he was a “Faggot nooblet that faps to beastiality pr0nz”.

The ability to view what is typed as it is typed is taken for granted today much like the laughter of a child in outerspace. In most early keyboard typewriters, however, the typebars struck upwards against the bottom of the plate thus crushing any peasant foolish enough to get in it’s way.

Most models of typewriters featured a bell which had the following purposes; to warn the typist he is approaching the right margin, and to trigger the angriest emotions and most turbulent feelings of small sea mammals within earshot.

In the 1940s, a silent typewriter was marketed, but it failed, because all the letters were replaced with only “L” and “O”. Though electric typewriters would not achieve widespread popularity, it was sporting fun to throw one at a homeless person from a moving vehicle.

Alas all things must come to an end. During the 1980’s word processors were becoming very popular paired with the emergence of personal computing. During the 1980’s by Rasmus Malling-Hasen was reincarnated by the dark forces of Satan and returned to show his disdain for the new word processors that were killing the typewriter.

But once started it turns into a hopelessly futile commitment with no short-term gain. So this month we look at the reasons for blogging, how to make the blog easy to do and why blogging may or may not be for you.

First of all, and this is something I learned the hard way, don’t expect ANY results from your blog in the first six months if not year. Although search engines do pick up blogs much faster than normal copy on a website you have to understand that like any other branding mechanism it takes a while for blogs to work. And because internet promotion is organic you can’t manage it as easily as you might an ad campaign or even a traditional public relations campaign. Blogs work by the laws of ATTRACTION rather than promotion. But once they get going it’s amazing what can happen. I was on a shoot the other day and the broadcaster casually mentioned how much she liked my blog. Huh? I had never met her before. Talk about credibility. My blog’s been up for about nine months now.

I’ve attached some articles on the “how to” of blogging so I won’t go into that here. The beginner’s article still has some great stuff in it too even for the experienced blogger. I encourage you to visit Zimbio too, for more info.

I will say that as a business owner, author or consultant a blog gives you several unique advantages.

A blog improves natural search tremendously in the long run. Use blog directories (or have your VA do it) and keep the copy fresh.

It’s the only mechanism that allows you to give your brand your own personal voice. Unencumbered by spin doctors or ad agencies. You can tell your customers EXACTLY what you want them to know and hear. How cool is that!

It’s cathartic. Get started and you’ll see what I mean. You can rant or praise in as thickly or thinly disguised of a manner as you want.

Eventually, you could generate revenue from affiliates. If you get enough traffic you might be able to have people PAY you to be on your blog. I just got my first request.

Finally, don’t worry if folks don’t comment. Unless you’re talking about timely or provocative topics they just read. And one day, you might be standing at a shoot and have someone you’ve never met comment on it.

Arbor Day is a holiday where individuals and groups of people from Alabama try to trap the soul of James Brown under the roots of 'spirit trees'. While he became involved with politics, he was unable to rest knowing James Brown could sneak up at any time and scream. He described the Pantasalvania area as "unsafe for god fearing white folks with guns who are startled by talented Motown artists". He promised the people of Alabama that they could grope their cousins and watch High School football as long as only white people and black people named "Repeat", "Replay" or "Ray Ray" were allowed to play.

During the 1870's, schools began to adopt this tradtion of trying to trap the soul of James Brown in the ground once and for all. It was claimed more than 1 millions trees were planted in 1874 when the people of Alabama had heard news from scouts that Mr. Brown had received a new bag and was feeling good (they had suspcions that he would).

During an 1876 meeting of the Pantsalvania State Board of Agriculture, J. P. dropped his pants and passed out immediately because he had been huffing gas and drinking rum for 6 hours previous. His last comments that day were that the floor was 'cold, yet pleasing".

Over 130 years later, people from Alabama flock every year to Pantsalvania to attempt to trap the soul of James Brown under the roots of their tree.

Groundhog Day is about a TV weatherman named Phil Connors played by Bill Murray. Phil has to live the same day over and over until he learns about love and how to live life.

Now, this is where the movie gets really bad.

1) The repetitveness of the movie is way overdone. I mean, how many times do I have to see Bill Murray wake up, take a shower and report on the groundhog? I’d rather lick spilled milk off the floor than watch this movie. Not only is the movie repetitive, the networks are being repetitive by showing it over and over. Don’t they have anything better to put on TV such as baseball?

2) The biggest knock on this film obviously has to be the predictability. My first grade nephew could have told me how the movie was going to end 30 minutes after it began.

3) There are also problems with a few scenes in the movie. There is the scene that is repeated over and over again where Bill Murray wakes up and then smashes the clock. Why couldn’t he just turn the damn station instead of teaching kids how to turn off an alarm clock in a quick way.

I was left hanging about the movie. I want to know what happens when he rides it out to stay awake until 6 am. Does he magically begin rising from bed when it hits 6 am when at 5:59 am he was still awake?

Also, who put the curse on Bill Murray? The damn groundhog? Some voodoo witch? That part was never explained in the movie.

4) What is the movie trying to convey to kids and adults back in the early 90’s and for anyone who watches it today? Your life is going nowhere so go ahead and jump off the top of the clock tower, go ahead and rob an armored truck full of money, go ahead and electrocute yourself with a toaster while taking a bath and go ahead and drive off the cliff in a burning car! I’d rather jump off the Golden Gate bridge than do these things.

5) This seemed more like a damn Christmas movie than a Groundhog day movie. Hopefully the networks can get a clue and play it once every December so that it can save our sanity!

An out-of-body experience (OBE or sometimes OOBE), is an experience that typically involves a sensation of floating outside of one's body and, in some cases, perceiving one's physical body from a place outside one's body (autoscopy). Recent (2007) studies have shown that experiences somewhat similar to OBEs can be induced by direct brain stimulation. Relatively little is known for sure about OBEs. Some of those who experience OBEs may have willed themselves out of their bodies, while others found themselves being pulled from their bodies (usually preceded by a feeling of paralysis). In other accounts, the feeling of being outside the body was suddenly realized after the fact, and the experiencers saw their own bodies almost by accident.

The first extensive scientific study of OBEs was made by Celia Green (1968). She collected written, first-hand accounts from a total of 400 subjects, recruited by means of appeals in the mainstream media, and followed up by questionnaire. Her purpose was to provide a taxonomy of the different types of OBE, viewed simply as an anomalous perceptual experience or hallucination, while leaving open the question of whether some of the cases might incorporate information derived by extrasensory perception.

Previous collections of cases had been made by Dr Robert Crookall; however, he had approached the subject from a spiritualistic position, and collected his cases predominantly from spiritualist newspapers such a Psychic News, which appears to have biased his results in various ways. Vaudeville was a genre of variety entertainment prevalent on the stage in the United States and Canada, from the early 1880s until the early 1930s. Developing from many sources, including the concert saloon, minstrelsy, freak shows, dime museums, and literary burlesque, vaudeville became one of the most popular types of entertainment in North America. Each evening's bill of performance was made up of a series of separate, unrelated acts. Types of acts included (among others) musicians (both classical and popular), dancers, comedians, trained animals, magicians, female and male impersonators, acrobats, one-act plays or scenes from plays, athletes, lecturing celebrities, minstrels, and short movies.

In the years before the Civil war, entertainment existed on a different scale. Certainly, variety theatre existed before 1860. Europeans enjoyed types of variety performances years before anyone even had conceived of the United States. On American soil, as early as the first decades of the nineteenth century, theatre goers could enjoy a performance of Shakespeare, acrobats, singers, presentations of dance, and comedy all in the same evening. As the years progressed, seekers of diversified amusements found an increasing number to choose from. A handful of circuses regularly toured the country, dime-museums appealed to the curious, amusement parks, riverboats, and town halls often featured "cleaner" presentations of variety entertainment, while saloons, music-halls, and burlesque houses catered to those with a taste for the risqué. In the 1840's, minstrel shows, another type of variety performance, and "the first emanation of a pervasive and purely American mass culture."

Albee also gave national prominence to vaudeville's trumpeting of "polite" entertainment, a commitment to entertainment equally inoffensive to men, women, and children. Acts who violated this ethos (e.g., using the word "hell") were admonished and threatened with expulsion from the week's remaining performances or with the canceling of their contracts. In spite of such threats, performers routinely flouted this censorship, often to the delight of the very audience members whose sensibilities were supposedly endangered.

By the late 1890s, vaudeville had large circuits, small and/or large houses in almost every sizable location, standardized booking, broad pools of skilled acts, and a loyal national following. At its height, vaudeville played across multiple strata of economic class and auditorium size. The three most common levels were the “small time” (lower paying contracts for more frequent performances in rougher, often converted theatres), the “medium time” (moderate wages for two performances each day in purpose-built theatres) and the “big time” (possible remuneration of several thousand dollars per week in large, urban theatres largely patronized by the middle and upper-middle classes). As performers rose in renown and established regional and national followings, they worked their way into the less arduous working conditions and better pay of the big time. The capitol of the big time was New York City's Palace Theater (or just “The Palace” in the slang of vaudevillians), built by Martin Beck in 1913 and operated by Keith. Today, chess is one of the world's most popular games, played by millions of people worldwide in clubs, online, by correspondence, in tournaments and informally.

The game is played on a square chequered chessboard with 64 squares arranged in an eight-by-eight square. At the start, each player (one controlling the white pieces, the other controlling the black pieces) controls sixteen pieces: one king, one queen, two rooks, two knights, two bishops, and eight pawns. The object of the game is to checkmate the opponent's king, whereby the king is under immediate attack (in "check") and there is no way to remove it from attack on the next move.

The most basic is to count the total value of pieces of both sides. The point values used for this purpose are based on experience; usually pawns are considered worth one point, knights and bishops about three points each, rooks about five points (the value difference between a rook and a bishop being known as the exchange), and queens about nine points. In the endgame, the king is generally more powerful than a minor piece but less powerful than a rook, thus it is sometimes assigned a fighting value of four points. These basic values are then modified by other factors like position of the piece (for example, advanced pawns are usually more valuable than those on initial positions), coordination between pieces (for example, a pair of bishops usually coordinates better than the pair of a bishop and knight), or type of position (knights are generally better in closed positions with many pawns while bishops are more powerful in open positions).

Dream interpretation is the process of assigning meaning to dreams. In many of the ancient societies, including Egypt and Greece, dreaming was considered a supernatural communication or a means of divine intervention, whose message could be unravelled by those with certain powers. In modern times, various schools of psychology have offered theories about the meaning of dreams.

The ancient Greeks constructed temples they called Asclepieions, where sick people were sent to be cured. It was believed that cures would be effected through divine grace by incubating dreams within the confines of the temple. Dreams were also considered prophetic or omens of particular significance. In ancient Egypt, priests also acted as dream interpreters. Joseph and Daniel are recorded as having interpreted dreams sent from God, and indeed the Bible describes many incidents of dreams as divine revelation. In the Western world, the first major work on dream interpretation was the 2nd-century Oneirocritica by Artemidorus, which interpreted the meaning of many subjects of dreams. The 9th-century On the Cause of Dreams by al-Farabi (known as Alpharabius in the West) was the first work to clearly distinguish between dream interpretation and the nature and causes of dreams.

Dream interpretation was taken up as part of psychoanalysis at the end of the 19th century; the perceived, manifest content of a dream is analyzed to reveal its latent meaning to the psyche of the dreamer. One of the seminal works on the subject is The Interpretation of Dreams by Sigmund Freud.

Dream analysis is central to Jungian analytical psychology, and forms a critical part of the therapeutic process in classical Jungian analysis. Although not dismissing Freud's model of dream interpretation wholesale, he believed that Freud's notion of dreams as representations of unfulfilled wishes, to be simplistic and naive. Jung was convinced that the scope of dream interpretation was larger, reflecting the richness and complexity of the entire unconscious, both personal and collective. Jung believed the psyche to be a self-regulating organism in which conscious attitudes were likely to be compensated for unconsciously (within the dream) by their opposites.

This recording will continue to play over and over again until the energy embedded disperses.

However some poltergeists have had the ability to articulate themselves and to have distinct personalities, which suggests some sort of self-awareness and intent. Practitioners of astral projection have reported the existence of unfriendly astral life forms, which Robert Bruce called "negs" (whom we might also identify with elementals). I never thought when I started blogging that I would receive over fifty thousand views from one website alone. That is a big compliment for an old guy that lives in Brooklyn. I guess whatever I have to say must be stimulating. The lack of comments that I and most other male writers receive is not a sign of poor writing only a sign that women are not interested in a mans individuality or creative ability. I have seen many extremely boring and frivolous articles written by women receive over fifteen compliments. It is obvious that they are coming from lady friends that haven’t the talent to say anything more than “Very Interesting”. Or “I love it”. Most websites are dominated by groups of women that support one another. They are called “Communities“ by their directors. I call them “Cabalas”. Fortunately I can gain popularity without joining any of them. The thousands of views I have received shows that I can stand alone. If I needed the support of groupies to be read, it would be time for me to stop writing and go fishing.

I would like to remedy the situation and give the floor to those writers that really have something interesting to say but that is impossible. Popularity of the writer not the quality of what is written has always been the rule. A successful writer has to cater to the crowd. If a person chooses to read articles only by writers in their ethnic group nobody can interfere with their choice. Not all people are groupies and many of them are very fair. Their individuality deserves my respect.

There is no way to appreciate or understand an article better than when it is written by an author who is represented by an avatar. Without a clue to the identity of the writer the reader is forced to pass judgment only on what is written. This poses no problem for a person that possesses the ability to analyze what is read. But for the groupie an article that does not identify the author creates a state of terror for them, because they must know the identity of the writer. Some groupies only feel comfortable reading an article written by a certain gender. Others demand to know the religion or racial group of the author before reading the article. These groupies by their practice censor the independent writer who attempts to approach a subject fairly.

There are many reasons for those that are now using an avatar on the Internet, the most common one is fear of being identified. Having a face displayed for millions to see makes a person uncomfortable. Some people that use avatars believe that they are homely and would prefer that their faces be hidden. Others prefer to stay anonymous for a variety of reasons, but few do it for the sake of creating an objective atmosphere for their readership. I doubt that there is any successful writer in the media that displays an avatar as an identity unless it is backed up with a profile.

I think it would be better for the country if the presidential candidates were represented by avatars. In that way only what was said would be important. Their speeches could be heard over a device that would disguise the sound of their real voice. In no way would they be allowed to disclose their background or social status. Even a homeless person could become the president if he had something important to say. If this method of electing a president was put into law we surely would have a talented man leading our nation.

It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words. But that picture can hide the importance of what a thousand written words are saying. A face can be deceiving because it rarely offers us the time to understand what is behind it. Written words can be examined and analyzed for the quality of its content. The benefit of the avatar is that it can help focus the attention of readers on what is being said. The avatar also destroys the narrowness of the groupie who is blind to what is written by those outside their group. An avatar has no race or religion, it is completely neutral. Future writers on the Internet might be required to use an avatar. It is needed in times where facial imagery has replaced words.

Not too long ago, I watched a series called Carnivale on HBO. One of my favourite characters was that of Sophie, a young woman who read the tarot with the help of her psychic mother. Sure, anything is possible on television, but can people really be psychic? Can people really predict the future or even talk to the deceased? I can't say that I've ever called one of those "Psychic Hotlines", I think those are kind of silly, and less than accurate. But I have always wondered, "What if I am psychic and don't know it?"

I'll admit, I live in a haunted house. I hear doors slam, things crash, lights turn on and off, and the ghosts in my house have a fondness for the radio, which will play full blast in the middle of the night. Is it possible for me to have a connection with the spirit world? I think it is, I just don't know how to unleash any so-called "psychic ability." Obviously, there is something that has led these spirits into my home, and if they're trying to tell me something, I would like to be able to decipher it.

The hauntings began after my trip to Savannah, Georgia. I took a ghost tour and the guide explained how spirits can often times latch on to someone and follow that person home. I think I found a new friend in Savannah, because strange things began happening after I returned home. First it started with the lights, and then moved on to the radio and finally I began to hear objects crashing. I found a helpful link that answered many of my questions about psychic ability.

Before I began visiting haunted cities like Savannah, Georgia and St. Augustine, Florida, I had always been captivated by tarot cards. It wasn't just the allure that they could predict the future, but I always found the tarot card art to be beautiful as well. There are numerous decks, depending on the style of art.

One of the oldest is the Visconti-Sforza tarot deck. The cards have a very Medieval appeal to them, not surprisingly considering this deck originated in the 15th century. Another famous tarot deck is the Tarot of Marseilles, which of course came from the Marseilles region of France. This deck is quite colourful, playing up blues, yellows and reds. A more modern deck, and I've owned a few of this one, is the Rider-Waite tarot. I've noticed that the older decks are a lot less detailed than the modern ones, with simple motifs, rather than vivid details in the background.

The tarot deck, and this is for all of them, is separated into the Major Arcana and Minor Arcana. The major arcana is usually what people think of when they think of the tarot. The major arcana is the portion of the tarot which has cards like "The Fool", "The Magician," and "Judgement." The minor arcana looks more like a medieval deck of cards, and instead of hearts and spades there are "cups" and "wands."

The reading of the tarot is done by several different means. There are different layouts, depending on the preference of the tarot reader. The cards can be read both right-side up and upside down, each taking on a different meaning. I have found a site that has been quite helpful when I am trying to decipher the art of reading the tarot. It does simplify the layouts and the meaning behind each card.

I am a writer, and yes I have a novel which has been published. Unfortunately, in the profession of writing, the competition is high and very few writers will become famous literati. This fact is nothing short of frusturating, as I'm sure other writers are well aware of.

The hardest part about being a writer is having to deal with the rejection that comes along with it. Most, if not all famous writers have what's called a "literary agent." Literary agents are the people that take a writer's manuscript and pass it out to various publishing companies with the hope that it will someday become a book available in all bookstores, nationwide. I have received more rejection letters than I can count from literary agents. I used to have a folder full of them, but threw it away.

Once a book goes to print, that dosen't mean it will end up on the shelf. There is still a lot of work to be done to get a new author noticed, and depending on how the book was published means a lot. The spots on the bookstore shelves are usually reserved for books which have been published through big-name publishers. Self-published and "print-on-demand" books will hardly ever see the inside of a bookstore. Although not impossible, it is rare. Books published by the author him/herself and "print-on-demand" publishers are good resume builders, but won't bring an author fame or millions.

It took me four years to write my first novel, and another two to get it published. That's six years! I ended up working with a "print-on-demand" publisher, which wasn't a dream come true for me, but it sure was a good start. I'm hoping that my second book will be more attractive to literary agents and bigger publishers, especially now that I have one out in print. Novel writing is no easy task, and not everyone can do it. I have found various resources that have helped me along the way when it comes to organizing a novel in progress. I know that my second book won't take four years to write!! The following link has helped me greatly.

Cemetery Photography

One of my favourite subjects to photograph is the cemetery. I have been doing this for several years now. I don't have a fancy camera, and in fact all I use is a very basic digital camera. Even with the basic camera I have taken thousands of stunning photos, it's just a matter of knowing how to use the camera properly from selecting a color (vivid/black and white/sepia) to knowing when it's a good idea to use the zoom function.

Picking a cemetery is the most important part. Three of my favourites are Bonaventure in Savannah, Georgia, Tolomato and Hugenot, which are both in downtown St. Augustine, Florida. I suggest doing a search for local cemeteries first. Many do have their own websites with photos, which will give a good idea of what the cemetery looks like. Personally, I am drawn to Victorian-style cemeteries, circa 19th century (think Bonaventure and Hollywood Cemeteries). The Victorian-style will have the vaults and mausoleums, which make for beautiful photos. Being that Bonaventure, Tolomato, and Hugenot are in balmy Southern regions, these also have Spanish Moss hanging from the trees, which will also enhance a photo. Hollywood Cemetery is in Virginia, and snow covered gravesites also create beautiful photo effects.

Once you have picked a cemetery, the next step is to visit it. Do a walk-through and get to know how it's laid out. Make sure to look at various gravesites from different angles. Also, visit the cemetery at different times of the day. If you want the photos to take on a more eerie feel, dusk and cloudy days are best. This is due to the low-lighting.

The main reason I like using a digital camera, is because I can see exactly what I photographed just moments ago. I enjoy taking black and white, and sepia coloured photos, because it conveys a 19th century/vintage feeling. A digital camera provides all sorts of colour functions from vivid to black and white to sepia. It's truly amazing what a basic digital camera can do.

Often times, for various reasons, many cemeteries are locked to the public. This happens to be the case with Hugenot and Tolomato. The "zoom" function becomes invaluable in this situation. You can do a close up on a certain tombstone without being able to get near it. My camera zooms from 2.2X to 7.8X.

Now that you have taken all these photos, there are so many options on what to do with them. I have created slideshows on my computer and have printed out 8X10's and framed them.

This topic has always fascinated me, but what exactly is "Demonology?" The study of demons? The answer is...sort of, depending on who you ask and from what region of the world. Even time periods had its own explanation of what a "demon" was. In the Middle Ages, demons were known as Succubi, which is similar to today's Vampires. Demonology does seem to revert back to a common thread, the concept of an evil soul or undead/unhuman being.

There are several types or factions of demonology, which correspond to different religions. A few of the most recognizable being Christian Demonology, Jewish Demonology, and Occult Demonology. Most branches are connected by the fact that all believe in "evil", that "evil" just goes by different names. A few notable demons include Mephistopheles, Lucifer, Beezlebub, Iblis and Mara.

Christian demonology deals with the war between good and evil, or the war between God and Lucifer. Occult demonology is the type of demonology people tend to think of when they hear the word. This type deals with occultists trying to harness the "demons" to get them to do the occultist's bidding. Jewish demonology claims there are over seven million demons! This multitude of demons is then divided down further into various groups, based on what each demon does.

When trying to decipher Demonology, I have found that books called "demon dictionaries" have been quite helpful. They give a list of demons and which regions/religions/purposes they are related to. It really is an interesting subject.

These paragraphs are spammers’ attempts to fool the junk filters imposed by mail providers. You’ve probably seen junk email with titles like V1agra, Via’gra or Vi@graa - this is another method spammers use to get around text recognition. Junk filters are programmed to recognise common spam words like viagra and hoodia, so the spammers change characters so the word is unrecognisable by anti-spam filters but legible to the human eye.

The text paragraphs that spam-lit writers love are evidence of a more complex filter-evading practise. Spammers use a bot to randomly generate short paragraphs, getting their material from the dissociated press (an algorithm for creating text from other text) or the digital web archive Project Gutenberg. Others feed passages from old Bibles through a program, hoping that the archaic language will slip through the filters.

The Spam Literature movement owes much to the willingness of creative souls to see art in the most bizarre of places, or perhaps a quaint desire to turn even the most frustrating banality into something worth reading. It’s definitely worth a look.

Ribbons look like beams of light, usually red, yellow or orange, that zig-zag across the photo. Mists are the most eerie. These will look like ghostly figures. Sometimes, even the outline of a face and/or body will be visible. However, Mists are the most rare of the three.

Brooke Davis happens to be the cheerleading squad captain through her high school years. She has tried to be in a relationship with Lucas twice, but in vain. Earlier in the show, she is shown as Peyton’s best friend but following certain incidents, they break up. She then starts her own clothing line and fashion brand and this turns out to be very successful. Though she is successful, she begins to feel the stress of being lonely and hence Peyton and herself, find themselves returning to Tree Hill. Dan Scott is the father of Lucas and Nathan. Okay so you already know that the best way to get Google to think your site is worthy enough to put in the first two pages (unless it's been around since 1984) is by filling it with meaningful content. But who is going to read it if nobody's visiting your site?

You can kill two birds with one stone by linking it to and from your own Wordpress blog. But how do you set it up? You don't know anything about HTML, let alone PHP MySql or HTRP (okay that last one I made up). And who wants one of those IhaveaGenericDomainBCImTooLazyToFigureItOur.wordpress.com domains? Well here's a step by step guide on how to easily do it yourself:

First step will be to sign up with a host that allows one-click installation. You normally have to implement a database to get Wordpress to run on your site and you don't have the time to go to Borders and read "MySql for Dummies" so trust me, this is the easiest and fastest way. I recommend and use BlueHost because they are the easiest to deal with and they don't outsource their customer service to India to some guy trying to tell you his name is "Mark". We'll use Bluehost in this guide.

So you found a witty and catchy domain name for your new blog and you've gone through the registration process (it's $7 a month for a one year plan and you have to pay for the full year up front, but fret not, you can use Paypal; so all of that crap that you had laying around the house that you sold last week just got you your very own blog).

When you get to the end of the registration page there will be an option to email the details of the transaction, I recommend doing this so that you have all of your signin and admin links documented.

Step 2: Let's get this bad boy installed already! Not quite yet. Open up a new window and download Filezilla, it's a very easy to use FTP client that will help get your pages uploaded when necessary.

Step 3: Okay now let's get this bad boy installled.

Go to bluehost and login on the top right. That will take you to your control panel where you can do all sorts of stuff like setting up your e-mail accounts, you get free vouchers to search engine PPC campaigns (which you should hire me to help you with by the way because I'm awesome in researching keywords, end of shameless plug) etc. Right now we want to focus on getting your blog installed and you can worry about the other stuff later, I get paid by the hour and this guide take longer than you think!

Okay, scroll down to the Software/Services section and you'll see an icon that says "Fantastico De Luxe"

Click on it, this is the app that will install the blog.

On the next screen, choose Wordpress

And then new installation

Fill in the info on the next screen

And you're pretty much done. Don't forget to e-mail yourself the instructions upon installing so that you have all of your login info and admin link

Next step is opening that e-mail and clicking the admin link. This will take you to a login page, and after you login you should see this:

So next is getting rid of that ugly default blue page. Click on Presentation and it will take you to the Themes page. Scroll down to "Get More Themes" and read the text.

Yes, you will have to do some uploading using the Filezilla program that you downloaded earlier. So keep the themes window open, open a new window and go to the Bluehost control panel. Scroll down to files and click on FTP accounts

Scroll down to the Account Management section and find the FTP user with only "/" under directory. All the way to the right of that user, click on "configure FTP client"

There are two ways to update you FTP account information into Filezilla. You can download the file "FTP configuration" and read the instructions on how to have it done automatically, but this enters a file into your registry and I couldn't get it to work, so we're going to do it manually instead.

Open Filezilla, click File>SiteManager>New Site

Find your username on the bottom of that FTP accounts Bluehost page, it should say

FTP Server Port: 21

SFTP Server Port: 22

Fill out Host (your url), Leave Port Blank, FTP for servertype, Logontype Normal, User (remember no @blahblah.com) and your password that you used when you registered with Bluehost, and click OK

Open site manager again and click connect after highlighting the FTP that you just chose. That should connect you to your FTP account.

If you have any problems with this Bluehost's tech support number is 888-401-4678 sometimes you have to call to verify your account first.

Next step will be to finally get your blog theme updated. When you connect to your FTP account look on the right under Remote Site and click on "public_html"

Then go to WP-CONTENT>THEMES and a list of your two current themes should appear.

Lets go back to that wordpress page that has your two current themes (this one, if you accidentally closed the page login to the Wordpress admin and click on presentation)

And click on the "Wordpress Theme Directory" on the bottom. This page should come up:

This is where you can choose how your page will look. Take some time to browse around and when you find one you like, click on Download.

This will prompt you to download a ZIP file which hopefully you're already familiar with, I recommend choosing RUN or Open and once Winzip or Winrar opens the file, unzip the entire file into a new directory on your hard drive and remember where it is.

After you've downloaded your theme it's time to install it.

Switch over to Filezilla and, on the left hand side under Local Site find the folder that you just created after unzipping the file onto your hard drive. If it was all done correctly it should look something like this (Cutline is the theme I chose):

Take that whole file and drop it over to the bottom right so that your Theme Folder is listed along with "..., default, and classic"

It should end up looking like this after the files transfer:

And you've installed your new theme. Now just go back to the presentation tab in your Wordpress admin and select the new theme, and there ya go!

Next guide will be changing the header banner and a few other mods. Most themes also have their own support forum so if you ever run into a problem, do a google search on the name of your theme and support and you should be able to find some help.

As a “blog meister” I’m often asked “How personal should I make my business blog?”

This is a great question. The answer for everyone is different.

There is no set answer to this question. It’s important to remember that your blog is a living extension of your business, and ultimately you. So keep in mind the image you want to portray, the goals of your blog and what your audience is looking for.

Howard Stern is a good example. Howard is often challenges his audience to “change the channel, no one is making you listen.” It’s part of his image, his schtick. It’s one reason why people do listen. The part of his audience that hates him tunes in because they love to be angry!

Does that model work for your “toy train” online business? I’m not sure. Let’s use the “toy train” business as a “model” (notice the clever play words).

1. Who is my audience?

Your audience ranges from Neil Young (who owns Lionel) to possibly 10 year olds who build and collect model train sets. Their experience level ranges from the new collector/modeler to the experienced hobbyist. This is important in determining the “feel of the read”…are you writing for a 35 year old who wants hard facts and analysis, or a 12 year old who wants to have fun and learn. The beauty of blogging is you can have both. Think about separating categories for your audience. Have Product Reviews, Product Releases, Kids Corner, How to, Ask the Conductor, Tips and Tricks, etc. as specific categories and post accordingly.

2. How and Why Do They Buy?

Does my audience buy on a whim, or do they buy when they “find the solution”? Are new product releases an important feature my audience is looking for? Do “Product Reviews” increase the possibility that a potential customer will pull out their credit card and purchase?

3. What do I find interesting?

This is probably the best indicator of what to write. If you haven’t already, take some time, visit, read and write down what it is you like about the blogs you frequent in your market target. Chances are if you like it, other people will to. Now take your list of “likes” and combine them and create a better blogtrap .

4. Why would I read this blog, subscribe, come back or make a buying decision here?

In addition to a blog being a vehicle for you to get your information out there and attract and keep an audience, your blog can become an interactive, user supported community. Think about the features you like on other people’s blog, and maybe even ones that don’t exist. What about having a contest for the best train picture, the coolest design, etc. Let users post their pictures and vote. Offer a prize. Allow members to email and print articles they like. Encourage them to ask and answer questions.

5. Is it fun for me?

Running a successful blog takes time, but you don’t have to become a shut-in. Structure your blog from the beginning to fit your schedule and your passion. Try and post something everyday. Your posts don’t have to be 1,000 words each, they can be about something you learned the day before, big or small. Don’t be afraid to ask your competitors or customers to help you keep the blog going by posting their valuable information. Always give them attribution, or at least a link to their site if they ask. Remember, your blog is a “service” that transcends petty competition. It has no ego, ex-wives, jealous husbands or personal problems. It just wants to be useful and used.

For me, I like to read blogs where the personality of the owner comes out. I read blogs mainly for the strength of the content, technical information or news, but the blogs I return to the most, the ones I subscribe to and pass on to friends and employees are the ones that are fun to read and provide valuable information.

Sometimes the personality of the owner adds a level of trust and intimacy between the reader and the author that raises the articles/posting above the clutter of the Net.

So decide for yourself how personal you want to get. When deciding what to write I like to pretend I’m Clint Eastwood:

“Did I write 6 posts or only 5. In all the confusion I kinda of lost track myself. But being this is The Blog Mill, the most powerful blog in the world, and will blow your head clean off, I have to ask myself one question ‘Do I feel plucky? Well, do I, punk?’”

All to often we come accross Ads and links that claim that we can make a bundle of cash taking online surveys. They lure us in and we get cought in there web, But we are only human and lets face it, who wouldnt want to make a few bucks doing nothing but answering some questions. Truth is there are a lot of survey websites out there that actually charge you to take there surveys, Charge you!!! Yes that is right, they want you to pay them so you can do thier work. Doesnt sound fair does it? Of course not. Which is why i developed a short little list of helpful hints to avoid scams and to turn you into a survey taking monster.

1. Use a separate email account, setup specifically for online survey taking. This is an almost “must” since privacy is so important these days, This will put you more into the drivers seat. This will help you increase your speed and let you manage your surveys a lot better than sorting through your personal mail.

2. Read the Privacy Policy’s. . A lot of times they will send your name to there affiliate networks, and soon you’ll be inundated with spam mail. Trust only those that claim to be spam free and auctually use the words in there privacy policies.

3. NEVER buy into an online survey company, they should pay you for the time and work you put into there company. Not the other way around.

4. Most surveys will give you a time frame of how long it will take to complete them, most if not all can be done in far less time. So dont be afraid to complete those 45 minute long surveys, becouse most of the time it will take only 25 minutes or so.

5. Complete all possible surveys that a site offers. The survey companies want and will give the best surveys to those who participate in every single opportunity. Filling out Profile surveys will also put you on the map to success as well. Not only will profile surveys let you shine they companies usually offer rewards just for completing them.

6. Be wary of survey sites that claim you can make $25-$75 or more dollars per survey. Most of these sites charge for membership and you will never make back even a fraction of the cost it is to join.

7. Take advantage of focus groups. The rewards can range from $20-$80 dollars For just an hour or so of work (if you can call it that).

8. MOMS!!! You are for the most part the key demographic that will be targeted for surveys. Reason is you make the most (if not all) purchase decisions in the household (sorry dad’s your not actually wearing the pant’s in the family ). You know your food item brands, your cleaning item brands, ect…ect…

9. Join as many sites as you possibly can so you can increase your earning potential. Let’s face it some of the better sites only send out 1-4 surveys a month, some sites will send out more than 20 so join as many sites as you can handle. But remember they are counting on you for accurate information, so be thorough.

10. Look a program that will fill out registration information for you and that also remembers your passwords. This will cut down tons of work if you plan on joining a lot of sites.
